This durable and corrosion resistant sand filter is compatible with most above ground pools and is a highly efficient and environmentally friendly way to keep the water in your above ground pool clean and healthy.

The pump uses silica sand (not included) instead of a filter cartridge which is far more cost effective than running a traditional filter pump system. Where a filter cartridge may need replacing every 2 weeks, silica sand only needs to be changed once every 3 years. The pump works by draining pool water through a hose and into the filtration system.

The silica sand is so compact that it traps dirt and debris in the water that passes through. Filtered water is then pumped down a separate hose and into the swimming pool inlet. The addition of a built-in timer lets you set an automated working period and the pre-filter strainer basket is an added mechanism that filters to catch larger particles such as leaves, hairs and dirt.

A new feature to the sand filter is the ChemConnect™ Dispenser which maintains and provides clean, healthy pool water. The dispenser release provides a stable level of chlorine needed for proper chemical balance.

This sand filer package includes adaptors for pool valves with an outer diameter of 1.25in / 3.2cm and is reassembled for added convenience. It makes an excellent upgrade to a traditional filter pump and it’s a fantastic way to enhance your above ground pool.
